My name is Shanice and I love to bake delicious sweet treats from scratch!
I have been baking since I was a child with my mom in the kitchen. Baking has helped me to learn not just about my family but others as well. I want to help create a culinary experience for your event that you will be completely satisfied with. I use the best ingredients I can find to give you a product that I am truly proud of!
MY STORY
I am a young chef based in New York City. My family is from the Caribbean and the Southeastern United States, so I try to incorporate those flavors into my cooking along with trying other cuisines. My mom taught me how to bake as a kid and that has had a big influence on me and my baking. I went to Food and Finance High School, in Hell's Kitchen. I was able to meet with many chefs from around New York City and even learn some of their recipes and cooking techniques. My school had many catering events that I had the opportunity to be apart of and they helped me to learn both front (customers) and back (kitchen) of the house. I have interned at different places such as Sullivan Street Bakery and Mountain Bird. I fell in love with food even more.
I started this baking business in 2016 and wanted to create beautiful delicious creations for people to enjoy! I want to create a flavor experience beyond the normal things we all know. I love to combine flavors from all over the world that I can get my hands on to make different flavor combinations for a unique flavor experience! Of course, although I started sometime ago, I am always learning and improving. We can honestly never know everything in whatever field we are in.
For 2025, I would like to expand my baking business to include my culinary services as well. Many people would like to try my food because of the delicious photos I post in Instagram. Here's your chance! I am working on what I want to offer because I love to make so many things but feel to ask for something if you don't see it.
I am also working on doing Pop-Ups this upcoming year. I will offer food and desserts and see which one is better received. Stay tuned for that!
Everything I make is made to order and from scratch. So I make all the treats with fresh ingredients and lots of love. You can truly taste it in every bite!
